About the material
The KRONEX starting spacer is installed on the top of the adjustable pedestal and allows to set the same gap between the porcelain stoneware tiles and the adjoining wall. Also on the spacer there are additional tabulators (delimiters), which help maintain the same gap between adjacent porcelain stoneware slabs.
The importance of maintaining a gap between the decking and the adjoining wall is due to thermal deformation of the material, improving the removal of moisture from the base of the decking, as well as preventing the transfer of moisture to the wall.
Even with prolonged vibration loads on the flooring, the spacer helps the tiles remain in place without moving.
